Oh how I can hear you and relate to this. I'm grateful to have that one yahoo-like-group (becaue it's groups.i.o, not yahoo, but it works like yahoo groups) that is still active (in spurts of low and semi-high). I don't know if there are any other SG related groups which are still active, but none of the other ones I'm a member off are active anymore.

I miss fandom as it used to be. I miss my corner of fandom as I used to know and love it. I miss all of that, but yeah... it's over. But like you, I keep hanging on and sometimes I'm hoping... or at least I try.
