Don't know what to say; I am almost teared up now. Maybe it is because I am feeling a bit nostalgic lately.

I can so understand what you are writing about. And I feel the same. For me, it was Lord of the Rings at the beginning, and later The Faculty. It was a great time but it is over, and even if we refuse to give up our love for 'our' fandom, we can't turn back the time. It is as if the time seems to fly quicker and quicker.

But like you I still refuse to give up hope that fandom love (in which way ever) will find a way to survive.
